In the garden he laid
So calm and so white
His smile seemed to fade
In the peaceful night
A crime had been made
And no one was in sight
It started off as any other day
His lover he had met
She had had a lot to say
The words he never would forget
Before she went away
A wedding date was set
He truly loved her so
His lover and best friend
The wind began to blow
The trees started to bend
Little did he then know
How this day was gonna end
He remembered her calling him a knight
Because he had swept her off her feet
They were standing on a height
In the sunny and boiling heat
In his arms he held her tight
Listening to their own heart beat
Later he was sent in war
Someone were fighting to be free
Never had he wished for it more
For her fairness he wanted to see
When he got back, it seemed like before
Him and her were truly meant to be
After thinking about it to the shop he went
To find her the perfect wedding ring
That was what to do he had meant
Unfortunately he didn't find a thing
So to another shop he was sent
It got darker, the birds stopped to sing
It was in the air that something wasn't right
But he decided not to give it a thought
A ring he found, buy it later he might
She wanted to look before it was bought
Therefore a letter to her he wanted to write
Paper and pencil he with him home brought
He started writing about the ring and their love so true
A bell rang right after he thought he heard a shot
Outside stood a stranger dressed in very dark blue
He had seen him before, but where he knew not
Said he wanted advice, didn't know what to do
So out into the garden they eventually got
They started talking, he got filled with fright
This man and his lover shared the same bed
It was completely dark, only the moon gave light
Both men wanted the other one dead
Looked at each other, not leaving without a fight
The stranger pulled a gun and aimed for the head
It was supposed to last forever
Their love was like a song
Both successful and clever
A love so pure and strong
But forever led to never
Everything went wrong
