Poetry - my silent dreams

The Brave Knight

A lady in white
Was looking so pale
No help was in sight

Some should dare
But where could they be?
Finding a treasure so rare?

A horse far away?
Her heart pounding faster
Maybe this was her lucky day

Something appeared
A knight in shining armour
In the distance somewhere

Soldiers in sight
All so brave and fearless
Perhaps the fortune was right

It happened so fast
Soon she was in his arms
Finally free, free at last

Kissing his hand
So grateful as can be
Now he would be her man

She was safe
No more fears
As they rode into the night
A lady and her brave knight
