You look so innocent
So peaceful asleep
I wonder what you dream
In your sleep so deep

The warmth of your breath
Calmly caressing my face
Laying here next to you
In this sweet embrace

If time could stand still
Stopping it now'd be nice
Watching you sleep tight
Smiling with closed eyes

Touching your lips gently
There's a soft tickle inside
Do not want to wake you
Just lay here by your side

I see your skin clearer
Touched by a ray of light
Morning has broken
And puts an end to night
