In January 2003, I started a group on MSN with this name. It was
a place where I could play by adding new pages, and sharing my poetry with whoever
would be interesting in reading it. Once I got my own domain, where I could play
around as I wanted, it was quite natural that its name would be Silent Dreams.
I am a web designer and when I have time, I take great pleasure in designing pages.
It is quite relaxing to just sit down and create something without having any
pressure that it must be done. For that reason, this site is where I take time
for myself and that is one of the reasons why I find the site name to suit both
myself and each of the pages added here.
As mentioned, this is my play site and I will add whatever I feel like to it.
So far that mainly involves pages with photography, poetry and pixel images on.
However, I have also decided to add purchaseware here. The first pages in the
poetry section was added not long after this site was created, while the photography
one was never really planned, nor was the pixel section... I am not a poet, a
pixeller or a photographer, but I write, pixel and take pictures when I feel like
it and this site is a mix of wanting to show some of my stuff to my friends, have
a place for myself to play around, and letting anyone else who wishes to peek
do just that. And if you want to get to know me better, you can have a look at
my blog. There you can also add comments if you'd like. The portfolio page will
showcase some of my designs that I've done for other sites. If you're interested
in my designs on your site, please contact me and we can work out the details
and price. There will soon be a section where you can buy readymade templates
to use on your site. There are a lot of different options so you might want to
take a look. This section will open towards the end of October.
To keep track of the site updates, please keep an eye on my blog. You can also
get the RSS feed, which may make things even easier for you.
I hope you will enjoy looking at the pages as much as I have enjoyed making
them.
